Sometimes work gets a little too much to handle and with finals finally coming to an end, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a small getaway with friends.
We decided on a roadtrip to Tremblant would be the best way for us to disconnect and spend a relaxing day away from the city. We left early in the morning and with our ultimate roadtrip playlist (keep an eye out for it on the blog soon) ready, we headed out!
Our first stop for this day was the Scandinave spa. Tucked away in between the trees and next to a nice river, this place is the exact embodiment of relaxation. They're currently having a promotion where you can get a swedish massage and access to the bath for a fairly low price! We went with that and spent our entire morning going through multiple cycles of the baths and leaving our worries behind.
Before our dinner plans, we decided to stop by the village to do a little bit of shopping and walk around a little. The village is a great place to just hang back and spend some time with your friends. During the summer, it is packed with activities like hiking and my personal favourite, the luge. Unfortunately it was closed when we went but make sure to check it out if you stop by!
To finish up our treat day, we had dinner at La Savoie where we had an incredible oil fondue. This restaurant is a must try if you are in Tremblant and the choices are endless! We really enjoyed the selections of meat as well as the endless sides and the ambiance of the restaurant. It was truly the perfect way to end our day.
It's safe to say that we all got home that night and felt absolutely refreshed and ready to take on the next challenges. It's super important to take the time to breathe, even if just for one day.
