Rainy Day Blues

When the weather isn’t sunny and warm out, it’s never easy to put on an outfit that is not only warm but fashionable as well. My first thought when I look outside the window and see rain is; I need all the layers. You want to be your most comfortable when you need to be outside in the rain, when you could be wrapped up in a blanket watching reruns of your favourite TV show.

We put together two outfits that we think best work for that gloomy day where all you want is a snuggle buddy.

This look is the perfect outfit if you’re way too comfy in your pyjamas but still need to head to school and hand in that annoying essay you've been working on for the past week. A cute pair of mesh leggings with your favourite sweatshirt is the perfect combo for a rainy day. An oversized denim jacket and scarf really makes this outfit. It keeps you warm, while looking super cute and fashionable.

Boots: H&M

Leggings: Target

Scarf: Urban Outfitters

Sweatshirt: Thrift Shop

Denim Jacket: Thrift Shop

This look is for those who no matter what are ALWAYS cold and need more layers than ever. Whenever I think comfort, I automatically think flannels. A girl can never have too many flannels, they go with every outfit and you can easily dress them up and dress them down. Topped with a warm coat and oversized scarf, the coziness was at an all time high. I can’t go anywhere without my rain boots, especially on a rainy day because there is definitely nothing worse that wet feet.

Coat: Zara

Flannel: Topshop

Jeans: Zara

Scarf: Urban Outfitters

Boots: Givenchy

Whether you're at home cuddled in your pyjamas, or out concurring the world in the pouring rain, you can still look and feel fashionable and cozy. Share with us your favourite rainy day outfits!
