Ready for bed.

When it comes down to it, my favorite part of the day has to be the moment where you finally take your makeup off, wash your face and put on your favorite pajamas. Being very lazy, I spent years going to bed with my makeup still on and without applying any sort of moisturizer but now my face is suffering from it. With a lot of trial and error, I came up with a relatively simple nighttime routine that is easy to follow and doesn't take up too much time off of my netflix schedule. So for all those lazy girls out there or for the ones who are suckers for a good face routine, here it is!

I wear a lot of makeup (primer, foundation, concealer, powder and the list continues) so when it comes to makeup wipes they have to work really well. I absolutely adore these sephora charcoal exfoliating wipes because not only do they take off all of your makeup super fast they have a harder, grainy side that exfoliates your face. Very similar to the ones Chelsia shared in her makeup favorites, we are loving these purifying wipes who really step up your makeup removing game.

My skin is very prone to breakouts, any changes in my facial routine can result in multiple pimples the next day. I've been using this face wash since high school and it is my absolute favorite. I always end up going back to it because on top of targeting acne-prone skin, it is oil-free and smells incredible. I use this right after removing my makeup to clear out any impurities and make sure my face is completely cleansed.

I recently found this amazing trick online and it's really changed my skin care routine. Before applying a mask, I take a warm towel and apply it to my face for a few minutes to really open up my pores. Once that's done, I spray a little bit of Origins' maskimizer on my face. This marine algae based spray primes your skin to really optimize the effects of the mask you're going to apply after. Little bonus: it feels super refreshing on your skin after the warm towel.

I personally do this mask every two days, when time permits. The combination of white charcoal and black charcoal helps minimize the look of pores which is a huge problem of mine. It comes with a tiny spatula to help you apply it and the colours mix in when you apply it to your face to make a nice dark gray mask. Boscia suggests leaving it on for 15-20 minutes but I usually have to leave it for 25-30 just to get the most effect. It never completely dries off on your face which makes it really easy to rinse off afterwards.

With the winter season coming up, it's really important to make sure your skin stays totally hydrated. A few months ago, I went to multiple stores to try and get advice on the best skin moisturizer as my skin looked and felt extremely dry and patchy when I was applying makeup. I was suggested many different products but the best one was by far the La Roche-Posay nutritic intense riche cream. It's a thick white cream targeted for people with very sensitive skin and truly does the job. I apply it right after the charcoal mask and wake up the next morning with my skin feeling so smooth. I usually pair this up with the clarins eye concentrate. I have really bad dark circle and often wake up with poofy under-eye that even the best concealer can't fix. This cream helps soften the darkness of the circles and truly makes a difference.

I already mentioned this product in a previous article but it is truly my go-to. I absolutely love the coffee-sugar combo because it really does a great job at exfoliating your lips but it also tastes incredible! I don't usually use this every night but when I feel like my lips are getting extra dry, I take it out and scrub them smooth.

There you have it, this is my nighttime routine! I would love to hear more about your own routines or miracle products (seriously, always looking for those) so make sure you leave a comment or visit our instagram to share with us.
